Add a native Dropbox Folder to Teambox
The biggest fustration with Teambox is no easy way just to link an entire dropbox folder. Uploading dropbox files is just counter intuitive. There should be a dropbox folder that has ALL the files for a specific project.
36 votesWe are working on allowing sharing whole Dropbox folders, and we are considering showing a top level dropbox folder as well.

Add ability for users to "like" comments in conversations & tasks
For collaboration purposes, it would be cool to be able to easily "like" or give a "thumbs up" to an idea or direction people are going in without adding additional comments to the string.

Color Coding Projects and/or Organizations
Color Coding Projects and/or Organizations
Especially for calendar viewing, it would be FABULOUS if you could color code your projects! In our case, we have lots of projects BY DEPARTMENT, so it would VERY HELPFUL if at-a-glance you could look at the calendar and easily recognize EVENTS and coordinating tasks by color = department.
If this idea is on the horizon of being accomplished, please notify me! Thanks!

Full task comment editing back and remove 15 min edit limit
As of today we can no more edit comments, except text and not even this if task is 15 minutes old. I find this unacceptable, because previously I was able to add attachments and work hours. Sometimes I needed to edit text, because I forgot something. Now github integration is also broken, because I can no longer add work hours.
36 votesUpdate: Editing comments is working normally now. At the moment file editing is not supported.
You can change the 15 minute default setting in Manage Organizations/Your Organization/General and Security Settings. -
Dropbox syncing is incomplete
Sometimes I don't get all the items from a project synced to my personal Dropbox. There used to be an option on the Teambox project to force a re-sync. I can't find this anymore. Has this feature been removed?
13 votesWe have been studying this issue at length, even involving meetings with the folks at Dropbox.
At Teambox we’ve done our best to provide a 2 way sync that “just works”, but unfortunately the support for it from the current Dropbox API is limited and we have been unable to deliver the feature as we imagined it.
We are considering downgrading the Dropbox Sync to a one-way integration, that sends all the Teambox files to your local computer so you can access them locally. The feature of syncing from your computer to Dropbox would go away until Dropbox exposes a better API.
The other Dropbox integration will remain unaffected, so you will be able to attach files (and very soon, folders) to any of your comments, tasks and conversations.
The spirit behind this decision is to deliver a great tool that works as you expect in every case.

Two way sync with Google Calendar
The ability to sync with Google Calendar is only one way. It would be great to be able to drag and drop tasks in Google Calendar to change their due dates. GQueues has this feature and its a major problem for us that Teambox doesn't.

Drag and drop tasks from existing tasks lists to an agenda for a meeting
I would love to see something like http://www.lessmeeting.com/: The agenda for the meeting is tasks you create or drag and drop from your task list, in the meeting you creates minutes on the fly by commenting on the tasks, creating new tasks, assigning them and adding due dates. Some taske are beeing closed in the meeting, some are new in the meeting and some have to be worked more on.
I do not want to rewrite tasks, agenda and minutes when it is actually the same list.
Partipants have updated task lists after the meeting and the follow-up is…

I’ll send this to our design team.

Add ability to batch edit tasks, especially due dates of tasks
Edit more than one task at a time, especially the ability to move a selection of tasks to another date simply

create tasks independent of projects.
Some tasks are just one task and is unrelated to a project. Create a task that uses a simple traditional format (no task list to be created in order to place a task some where.

Allow users to be assigned colors so each user is unique and not everyone is yellow.
By giving everyone the option to choose a color to identify themselves with, it will allow them to see where their name is listed easily and for others to see what tasks are assigned to each person quickly and easily by color organization.

Start date field on tasks
Tasks have end date only. So, when that date arrives, it is late to start, perform and finish that task, unless it is only a one-day lasting task. I suggest to include an start date field on tasks.
Task list, have start and end date, but they don't have responsible person. So, it is not an option to use it instead of tasks with start and end dates.

Add Folders for Notes
For projects that have a lot of notes within, it would be nice to be able to create folders and place respective notes within a particular folder for better organization.
I didn't realize this couldn't be done until a few of our projects started collecting a lot of notes that filled the entire sidebar and then some. Would be nice to drag and drop them into a folder to make it look better and easier to find what is needed.

Attach files to email via Team Box
We should have the ability to attach files directly to email via Teambox. Now we have to download each file manually. If it's already in an attachment we can forward to our clientele.
Perhaps add a symbol or a checkbox to a file we want to also email out?

search
Allow search to find any kind of content in task comments, including URLs.
It often happens to me that I don't recall the task subject but I'm completely sure that I put certain URL in the comments as it's crucial to the task.
It would be really helpful for the search bar to be able to find those as well.

We need a desktop (OSX/Windows)little Quick-Entry App
The Problem: having to get back to my browser or mac app and click around to just pop-in a quick task or comment.
The Solution: Please look at how some could apps (eg: Flow or Harvest) have built a little, light-weight, quick-entry app. Making it easy, no matter where you are in your workflow, which app you are on, what else you may be working on, to instantly (with 1 quick key) pull up a little handy HUD and pop-in a task, or conversation comment, or..etc.
This really works and has satisfied 100's of 1000's of users of those apps.

full calendar with all tasks: realized and active
For me it would be very useful to be able to view a calendar where I could see the work done with the remaining tasks.
- For example, the finished work in a gray
- Active jobs in a color customized. When I have to report the work done for a client, it is important to see all tasks performed.
And in the Gantt chart only shows the titles of these tasks if the mouse is over it.12 votes -
The ability to assign multiple tasks at once to a user
It would be great to be able to assign multiple tasks to a user at once. Example the template task list, to assign all those tasks to one user.

Multiuser task validation process
Be able, when we create a task, to select some users and ask a individual validation.
eg. 1 task need to be make by more that one user, we create a task and selected users can validate the task individually. When all users is ok, the task is done. This idea maybe integrated with subtask idea (1 subtask for 1 user only).29 votesIt’d be possible to do this with subtasks. We’re reviewing the idea.

Creating & assigning tasks via email
Asana has very good email integration capabilities which we really hope would be implemented in Teambox: http://asana.com/guide/tags-email#email-incoming
To wit:
Capability to send an email to a generic email address which will automatically create a private task assigned to me (My Tasks, which unfortunately is not in Teambox)The email address in the TO: gets assigned that task, the task body the description/notes (which unfortunately Teambox does not support), and the CC: list are the watchers
Not saying that you guys should copy Asana per se, but maybe take how they handle email into consideration as it is pretty straightforward (no…

Ability to print workload view in display format. Currently no print option and print window selection is not formatted that well. Thanks.
