folder management
Having folders without simple folder management kind of defeats to purpose. Below are the functions that comes to my mind for folder management:
1- Move files between folders
2- Move folders between projects
3- Delete folder function currently exists, but doesn't warn user about included files. It deletes all the files in the folder when an user deletes the folder. It will be ideal to allow user to move files before deleting the folder. Because once the files are deleted, we lose the link to the corresponding conversations, notes, etc.
4- Rename and Reorder folders
5- Ability to unlink and link files to conversations, notes tasks etc.

1- Now I understood your thought. Unfortunately only dropbox or other cloud storages could solve this, until now ;)
2- Reviewing it, I accept your explanation.
3- I liked your idea, but please use dropbox and "free" your teammates from mistakes ;).
4. Sorry, but I've renamed folders and files for weeks. The lack of this feat. is weird. BWY, you can reoder folders drag'n-droping them easily.. It is easy ;)
5- In Files, search Attachmet folder. All files are dropped there.As you can see, w/ dropbox you can solve many problems. But I think you need to upgrade $$ your account ;)

1- There is not simple way of doing this. The only way I know how to do this is to move files one by one out of one folder, and drag them to another folder. Multistep work around for a simple drag and drop between folders. If there is an easier way, please let me know.
2- I haven't enable the dropbox feat. yet, and not sure how this will enable this feature, but don't you think it make sense to be able to do the same without the help of the dropbox assuming some people may choose not to use dropbox. When you have many folders and many files, it will be helpful to move files without the help from dropbox.
3- When you are trying to organize many files and folders, people may accidentally loose their files by simple deleting the folder. It may not too bad of an idea to warn people about existing files in the folder. This may save teambox team some headache's in the future. Just a suggestion.
4. Renaming the folder feat. didn't exist last week when I sent an email to teambox (at least for me), but I see this feat. exists now. Thank you. On the other hand, I still cannot find a way to reorder folders. drag and drop doesn't work for it. Am I mistaken?
5- Ability to link and unlink a file from a conversation, notes, tasks will be a good additional feat. -
