Drag and drop ordering in "all tasks"

We are an agile shop, used to pivotal tracker on the development side. We don't believe in deadlines, as they are too rigid and don't account for scope creep. What's more important to us is sequence. I'd love to be able to drag and drop my tasks in a specific order in my "all tasks" view, so I don't get distracted (I know this sounds very prissy pants, but it's actually psychologically defensible) by looking through all tasks to pluck of what's next. It would also be helpful for me to see the order for my other peers in the organization to understand when to expect things and what's standing in the way of deliverables I'm depending on.

I would much more prefer to have in "All Tasks" the same order as I have in "Tasks" (if there are no priorities / dates)

I agree with JA - this is a lightweight version of priorities. See clear task app for iOS. Just a very non-multitasking, human-appropriate task management tool (although super weak where you are super awesome).

I understand development-wise this is not going to be trivial... :(

The downside of using priority tags is having to apply and unapply. We work in an environment where priorities can change frequently and quickly. Really.
Drag and Drop ordering in All tasks would be wonderful.
It's one reason i find it hard to let go of GQueues. The drag & drop'iness is dreamy

And it just 'feels' better than apply tags. (Unless tags could be applied via drag&drop...?)
