Integrate with SalesForce
(1) Manage tasks inside of SalesForce
(2) Attach tasks to account and opportunity objects
(3) Integrate with Chatter for conversations about tasks
etc.
We’re studying the possibilities. If you can provide more details on specifics or even wireframes, we can study a deep integration.

So...I know this is probably totally unlikely, but if possible, try Nutshell. MUCH MUCH MUCH better than SF. We just did a huge transition project and we have not looked back.

Hey Teambox, we'd be more than happy to talk through what we're looking for! My colleague Peter posted some details in this thread. Let us know if you want to connect directly. Thank you! (We don't share the other commenter's opinion.)

With all due respect, Salesforce is the largest CRM in the world. Asking a business customer to provide a wireframe is akin to saying "what's gmail?" when someone asks for gmail integration. This answer is seriously disappointing.

Hi,
I'm a colleague of Danny's and he asked me to take a deeper look into what a Teambox-SalesForce integration might look like for us. Our suggestions are below. Thanks!
Manage Tasks Inside of SalesForce
Allow the editing, assignment, commenting, and completion of tasks from inside SalesForce (and vice versa).
Allow tasks to be assigned to specific projects built within Teambox.Attach Tasks to SalesForce Objects
Provide two-way communication between Teambox and SalesForce.
When a task is created in SalesForce, synch that task with the Teambox account.
Fields to be brought over:
Task name
Task detail
Related object name (i.e. Account, Opportunity, Case, etc.) and record name to which the task is related
Due date
When a task is created in Teambox, allow option to relate to a specific SalesForce object and object record.
Teambox task will then synch with SalesForce account.Integrate with Chatter
Currently, Teambox sends emails to users that are a part of taks, projects, and conversations.
Instead (or in addition to), post these emails to a general Chatter feed (for a task that is unrelated to an object) or post updates to the Chatter feed for the related object (i.e. if User A closes a task related to the ABC, Inc. account, post that update to the Chatter feed on that account record).
Would it be possible to manage, edit, or comment on tasks directly in the Chatter feed?
