Keep "share" settings in google docs attached from tasks (now are set to public)
Currently, when opening a link to a google doc attached to a task, the document is automatically set with visibility option "Public on the Web". I don't know if there is a technical reason for this, but I think the correct behavior should be to not modify any settings of the document, since this causes documents to become public without the user noticing, which could cause important privacy issues.
This is to improve the accessibility for other users accessing it.
However, it’s a good feedback and we’ll investigate a way to control privacy better.

Maybe adding a setting to the organization to "preserve original permissions" will do the trick. We're still considering the best option for users.

Thanks for your quick reply.
Honestly, I think that, specially when working inside a company, this improvement in accessibility is not welcome. One would expect to control accessibility to a document in the document's settings, and not having it changed without one explicitly accepting it.
I hope you can find a way to fix it soon :)
