i agree with this and i wish i had some more votes left cause i would put 3 votes on this. currently i have to expand all my tasks and since the default print stylesheet sucks, i copy/paste everything into word and add some visual hierarchy with large font and colors. (it's a pain in the A$$)

I created this idea to make a project closeout printout prior to archiving (http://ideas.teambox.com/forums/86927-general/suggestions/1399951-project-closeout?ref=title). But i think if David's idea on printing this page was handled, it would make a project closeout easier task to solve.

this is huge, in order to be effective in project management and team leading we need to actively be aware of our team's time records and most companies/businesses require some type of time reporting sheet.

simply put, we NEED to export a timesheet report by filter (i.e. employee, job, task, time period). the fact that teambox cannot centralize this is becoming a problem for my team. :(

          please look into implementing this!

Thank your for all your comments. We are listening, and would like to implement this in a way that works for everybody.

Question: Would it help if you were allowed to enter time for any date in the last month? If so, we can add an option so users can choose any date in the last 30 days to enter the time tracking.

Jaz you literally have to cast a vote next to the name of the idea (top left of this page)

i like that idea too. (http://ideas.teambox.com/forums/86927-general/suggestions/1495785-task-timer) but maybe with an api someone could develop an adobe air application to record time (like http://www.getklok.com)

thanks for putting this under review. it seems pretty important for time entry and mgmt.

what purpose does the date next to the "log hours" icon and assignee drop down box serve in a task? if should be right there that you can change the date and log the hours.

            tscibiliatscibilia commented  ·

Update: this doesn't work, i jumped the gun. because no matter what you do it still logs the time entered as today! PLEASE FIX

            tscibiliatscibilia commented  ·

i just realized that you can simply click on the date text link next to a task time entry and thats how you log time for a previous date.

You can cancel this idea, it just wasn't clear where it was located

We are about to launch an update for Gantt in Teambox 4 including tasks for all task lists.

We do not have plans for dependencies yet, but it’s something we’ll keep in mind for future releases.

i agree with iq9 on gantt charts. As a designer gantt charts are nice but ultimately im more concerned with figuring out if my current progress projects me to be done early, on time, or late -- and if im over or under budget. I love the charts on ( http://www.agilekiwi.com/earnedvalue/agile-charts/ or http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burn_down_chart ) please consider implementing them

a nice feature would be able to include tasks and conversations that you may not be "watching" maybe in a weekly digest. this could be an option in settings (not mandatory) but as the owner of my company i don't need to be "watching" every task/conversation my team created to get development moving but it would be nice to read at the end of the week what's been going on. Let's face it, ultimately i'm responsible for knowing what's going on!
